Imagine you get some unknown powder. It doesn't matter how you got it: a friend gave it to you to try, you stole it from the pocket of an unconscious street junkie, or you accidentally found it in a taxi. It doesn't matter how you got it, what matters is that you have the drug in your hand and you probably really want to use it.
Is it stupid? Maybe. But it is not so easy to force myself not to use the obscure powder...
And then the question becomes: What is the powder in my hand?
Is it Amphetamine or DOB? Could it be Mephedrone or Fentanyl?
A greedy, foolish junkie will say «fuck it, let's try this shit and will see».
Except that this is not something you should try on yourself while waiting to get high. The result can be dramatically the opposite, and instead of getting pleasure, you will only get frustration, disappointment, and maybe even death with foam coming out of your mouth. It’s enough just to use the substance, the dosage of which is tens or even hundreds of times lower than the dosage of amphetamine and cocaine. If you habitually pour yourself a track to try (a small track, less than usual - you're not stupid), you can overdose so hard and so fast that your buddies don't even have time to think about what to do.
That's why this section discusses ways to identify different substances. It could save your life.
Share your stories about obscure substances and the consequences of using them.
