after testing the synthesis as described. I have obtained low results below 50%. after reflecting on it. and weigh the part that had remained in the Dichloromethane in the acetone and water. I realize that there is 20% of 2b4k that has not reacted. I understand that the part of 2b4k that has not reacted. he has not done so because he has not come into intimate contact with methylamine. if the methylamine has such a low melting point and condenses at -6 ºC I suppose that in order to recover it back to the reaction the temperature of the condenser would have to be lowered enough for it. My doubt and question to the comrades is:
If I add the methylamine to the reaction that is removed by a magnetic rod and close it ermetically in such a way that the gaseous methylamine cannot leave the container, the reaction will probably not be left without methylamine before it is complete. There is some risk of overrepression???
If I add a catalyst such as NMP to the reaction when the reaction is carried out with much less time, it is possible that the reaction will be completed with greater success???
Thanks for advancing
