Hi guys, I know Al/Hg, Pd/c etc. are commonly used in the field.
Are there any other alternatives? Gallium hydrogenation for instances its much less toxic then mercury.
And its more cost effective then the rare metal catalyst. Has anyone successfully done this?
Or should i bite the bullet and just spend the money on a decent reactor?
cheers
