Bmk powder did the hydrolysis thing with hydrocloric acid and mix goes milky when cools down i dont know why

Did hydrolysis on bmk powder with hydrochloric acid and the oil turns milky on cooling down what could be the reason

The milky appearance of the oil upon cooling after hydrolysis of BMK powder with hydrochloric acid could be due to the formation of insoluble by-products or emulsification. Have you considered the possibility of impurities in the BMK powder or the acid used, which could lead to such reactions?

I have done this method several times and it's worked well we need to do is get two liters of distilled water 2 liters of hydrochloric acid one kilo of bmk powder put it on a heated magnetic stirrer at 95 degrees for two hours instead you see the wheel split it will come out the beautiful golden yellow color

It is an emulsion (h2o). Which is very difficult to break, after about 2 weeks without movement this coloration disappeared. The problem no longer appears as it is now converted without h2o.

Hot filtration through a plug made fromhalf cotton and half fine glasswool breaks virtually every emulsion. Or distill the water off under vacuum, the vacuum breaks the azeotrope which at atmospheric pressure would lead to steam distillation. Adding brine, saturated NaCl solution works in most cases. Plenty of options.
