Question Need help in 4mmc synthesis step

So i first added 2b4mp then bezen in flask then i added methylamine 40% and started stiring with megnetic stirrer, now i don't have heat source so how long should i stirrer for without heat? And how will i know the reaction is done? At starting the liquid was white right now its turned greenish colour
