In Mumbai, a city lawyer's farm in the Kolhapur district turned out to be a mephedrone lab.

Police inspected the farmhouse of a prominent city lawyer and found a drug lab there. The caretaker of the house, 29-year-old Ihil Ramchandra Lohar, was arrested. The owner of the farm, advocate Rajkumar Rajhuns is currently on the run, his current whereabouts remain unknown.

120 g of mephedrone, 38.7 kg of raw material for its manufacture, and expensive laboratory equipment were seized.

The arrested caretaker of the house, told police that he received a monthly salary of 15,000 to 20,000 rupees (about $200 to $300) and the drugs were supplied to at least half a dozen retailers in and around Mumbai.

Rajhuns also has a rented office with at least four junior employees. Law enforcement officials said police are already searching the office and are also getting details about the lawyer's other possessions and his bank account.
