If you use dilute sulfuric acid, the MDP2Pol will rearrange into MDP1Pol (3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-1-Propanol). Then, you can use manganese dioxide or PCC to oxidize it to MDP2P (3,4-MethyleneDioxyPhenyl-2-Propanone). Then, use MDP2P and either methylamine in ethanol water solution or ethylamine in ethanol water solution and use Aluminum Galinstan amalgam reductive amination to get MDMA or MDEA.
