So I came across this chemical, and of course though GHB. And apparently I'm not too far off.
According to this
This chemical will hydrolyse to gbl and ghb mono and di acetyl esters, according to this.
So what is stopping someone from using a sodium hydroxide solution, and reacting until ghb is formed, perhaps even knocking the acetyl groups off to get pure ghb?
