Good point but LE participating in dead drops would quickly be discovered.
There could also be a system to approve vendors doing dead drops with the community

The big question is do you pay for it upfront or when you’ve picked it up and happy with it…. Massive trusting both sides ( by all means there is some genuine people on this site, but there is also some pretty decent scammers)

buy only from vendors who paid for their thread, those who have reviews on their products, these factors indicate that most likely the organisation cares about the reputation... or people who donated to the website at least...
But mainly escrow is encouraged!
