Anyways, this is so easily made, it's mind-boggling... Pounds of this beautiful beautiful thing is (did I emphasize easily) synthesizable in merely a couple of hours (not including the cooldown time of the reaction vessel).

I would use 2 in steel pipe in which is threaded on each end, a 6-10 inch long section of pipe that screws into a 2 in Tee. As for Temp and time, 2 hours at 300C.. and I never noticed the reaction to be very picky in regards to Temp or time.
And all these years, decades later, it's still amazes me that I feel like I'm the only individual whom has taken to and falling in love with this particular synthesis.
If only I could discover or produce as simple of a one-pot, high temp high pressure phenylethylamine synthesis as this Methylamine synthesis..
