Question Mercury nitrate ?

Is there anyone to sell mercury nitrate here on the forum?

It’s exhausting to completely look for thermometers and make it yourself. And we think that we create a problem here, so we always lose the same strength, and when we store the prepared mercury nitrate in the refrigerator, we believe that it loses its properties after a few days. We are looking for Europe and it is nowhere to be found, nor is it on Amazon.

So if someone has to sell mercury nitrate they would really buy it, at least a little bit until something concrete comes up in Europe that we can buy ourselves.

Or does Mercury have anyone to sell?

Some people order mercury switches from Amazon to produce Hg(NO3)2, also mercury chloride can be used instead of nitrate.

There is a Russian company that sells Mercury Nitrate, if you want the name I can provide it to you privately. I bought a little and it arrived in 3 weeks.

But in the end I didn't need it because I tried to do the synthesis with mercuric chloride that I can buy in Spain (if you're from Europe maybe I can send it to you if you're interested)

Asking for mercury switches, using thermometers... is a way I wanted to avoid, it seemed very cumbersome if you want to get good productions.

When did you do this? I've heard that there are some logistic problems between EU and Ru. Some people have problems with delivery from there.
