Pihkal goes into an epic number of analogs, of which i could not find 3-methoxy-4-hydroxy-amphetamine... which is basically vanillin run through the henry reaction with nitroethane and reduced.... I may just be an idiot and not be seeing it anywhere, even with a google search..... but has anyone heard of this or know what that substance would become? is this common knowledge that i dont have yet? I would imagine its talked about here and there as it would be an easy one to make in terms of getting an aldehyde... seems logical.. but i cant find any information on it anywhere....
