Nitromethane Reduction, Borohydride?

Would sodium borohydride, coupled with copper 2 chloride, be able to reduce nitromethane to methylamine?

Just figured there has got to be a better way than immense, hard to stir amounts of iron, or mercury amalgams.

I am not completely familiar with the process but for methylamine gas, perhaps you have heard you can add nitromethane RC fuel and methanol to generate the gas, or something like that?
