idk, email or phone number can b used for 2fa on most socials but that would b super unsafe on here. i thought we already had an optional 2fa thing with element chat but i suppose another way would b more convenient. maybe they can do something with session/signal if possible?
i can c why ppl would want 2fa/how it can make the acc safer in other ways so im not against it but i probably wouldnt utilize it. the more identities linked to my account, the worse it will b for me.
