Lately I've notice Sudafed gone completely from shelves. Only product w pseudo HCl is allegra- it's other compound being fexofenadine which is also HCl I believe? Is it not possible to isolate them ?

To do these you place the tabs in a sifter pore warn water over them inti all the white part has dissolved off them place the brown part of the tabs on paper towing to dry once try crush all the brown tabs up and place in a beakef and give them 3 hot toluene washes to get rid of the wax and gums dry and place then in hot methylated sprits to 3 pulls extraction with the metho then vap the metho off and you will be left with pseudo

thanks- so ultimately similar concept as to washing away pseuda pills w/ anhydrogenous acetone.
but instead this with hotwater and seperate stage w toulene and finally methylated- do you mean methy hydrate or dcm type? Cheers,
