Beaker vs reaction flask with strenth of chemical?

when doing a kit from china, and all the main and other ingredients are added, does a actual reaction flask make the product stronger than the reaction happening in a beaker? my vendor says a reaction flask will make a slight diffrence in the potency but it will still be good in my wide mouth beaker. So i am wondering is my purchase of the reaction flask actually warrented.
