I was reading a paper (see above) and it said "80% yield of GBL, 11% succinic acid". What's the most efficient/best way to separate succinic acid from GBL?
I was thinking using ethyl ether since GBL is soluble in it but Succinic acid is not (I would then distill it), but I'm not sure this is efficient.
Thoughts?
