Question 3-CMC Synthesis (around 100g)

Hi everyone,
This is my very first post here. I noticed this is not a toxic forum and people can really ask! So I'm trying to make some 3-CMC at home, and I got some products.
I saw 3 or 4 different methods and, as I'm new in this area, I wanted to ask you if the products I have are the proper ones.

(My level of experience = making really good homemade poppers)

- 1kg methylamine hcl
- 1l DCM
- 1kg Benzoyl-l-tartaric acid
- 500g NaOH
- 25l HCl 33%
- 2l Isopropylic Alc
- 1l ethyl acetate

Am I missing any chemicals?

Well the meta chlorinated propiophenone with or without halogen on the C2 (and the halogenating agent) is somewhat like attempting to bake bread without flour. You forgot the main ingredient.

Seems to be an easy recipe! If it works.

I'm not sure if there is a big demand for this substance, so maybe 4mmc is.more lucrative!

Hello, you won't get 3-CMC from this. You need 3'-Chloro-2-bromopropiophenone for that. Also, you can follow this method from Methamination step, just substitute precursor and recount reagents in the same molar ratio.
