IUPAC: 1-(3-methylphenyl)-2-pyrrolidin-1-ylpentan-1-one
Trivial name: 3-Methyl-alpha-PVP
Appearance: White, completely homogenous texture. Very mild odour. All this points to high purity.
The vendor is also known to produce and synthesise very good quality products with high purity.
A few months ago, they had 2-Methyl-PVP and 2-Methyl-PiHP. The first i mentioned (2-Me-PVP) was VERY VERY good.
But... This is EXTREMELY harsh to the throat when vaporizing in a glass-pipe (Methpipe)
It seems its not soluble in Acetone, but I tried a wash, and only affected the harshness VERY little.
Chemicals I have:
HCl 30%
Sodium bicarbonate
Distilled H20
Anhydrous Acetone
Sodium Hydroxide (solids)
And Bleach (Sodium hypochlorite)
And some "red ethanol" than contains Ethanol, Propan-2-ol and its denaturated with a bitter substance.
Any advice how to reduce the harshness?
