Can valerophenone be made from benzaldehyde and some n-butane type reagant?

I am a little more willing to synth things than buy things.... i just dont have that part of this game set up yet...

Im fairly new to this, so bare with me on this, im not sure what reaction would make this possible... is it even possible? I suppose what im thinking is theres got to be a way to alkylate an aldehyde and get a ketone, the carbonyl is already there.... Hell, even if the alkylation has to reduce the carbonyl to an alcohol to get something to stick, it wouldnt be too hard to oxidize it to a ketone, i mean thats basic stuff anyway..... any ideas? what voodoo must take place?

In theory you can make it from benzonitrile and butylmagnesium bromide.
It's a well-known method to make ketones.
