Hi !

I now have to use 300ml of 37% hydrochloric acid. But I find the smoke too intense and can't really work through. That's why I want to use the 23% hydrochloric acid. How much do I need from 23% to get the same effect as the 300ml of 37%?

Thanks in advance

37% HCl means, 37- g of HCl is present in 100- ml of the solution. So 1000- ml of the solution will contain = 370- g of HCl

you have 300ml off 37% HCI witch is 111g

dissolve 0.1825 grams of HCl into water to every 100ml will give 20% close enough
