Okay so I understand the process, I have the sprayed glass plates with silica, I just don’t have ammonia… I DO have ammonium acetate - ammonium acetate is a salted version of ammonia? Or is that incorrect?
I read the first article that comes up when you google Tryptamine TLC testing and it says use a solution of 100:1.5 of methanol and ammonia - does this mean I’m supposed to bubble ammonia through methanol? Or do I need 100% liquid ammonia?
I am really quite confused!!
I get the process and I get physically how to do it, I just don’t know with what and don’t see the point in blindly wasting chems.
I’m just trying to open up a better evaluation system of what I’m dealing with in my RM’s.
