1-->Open the inhalers, a pair of really sharp blades should give. Place the cottons that were inside in a jar and close the lid. (Remember that you will use the twelve cottons.)
2-->In the bowl, combine 1/3 ounce of water with 2/3 ounce of acid Muriatic. Rag the cottons in this solution, and knead for five minutes with your hands. (ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU'RE WEARING GLOVES RUBBER CLEANS in the hands.) You can do this with bare hands if have thick skin. Squeeze all the juice from the filters after kneading them and throw them away.
3-->Filter the remaining liquid into the fourth jar. It will be necessary to do this many times to take away that horrible smell. Chemicals in inhalers were bound to HCl, and the oils were filtered. Throw the filters away.
4--> Pour enough of the solution into a bottle until it leaves 1/3 flood. Reserve any juice to spare for a future batch.
5-->Pour 1/4 teaspoon of the caustic soda crystals into the bottle and Shake. Do this carefully, as the mixture will get hot, and drop a gas. Repeat this step until the mixture remains cloudy.
6--> Fill the step bottle in the rest of the bottle with ether. Cover the bottle, and shake for about eight minutes. It is quite important to expose each free-base molecule into the ether for as long as possible.
7-->Let the mixture stand. It will have an intermediate layer that is quite thin. Beat the side of the bottle to make this layer as thin as possible.
8-->Remove the top layer with the dropper, careful not to take nothing from the middle layer. Save the top layer, and play the rest out.
9--> Fill the bottle to half water, and about ten drops of acid. Pour the top layer of step (8) into the bottle, and cap it. Shake the bottle for two minutes. When it settles, remove the top layer and throw it away. The free base is now attached to the HCl/water mixture.
10-->If you have any leftovers from step (3), repeat the procedure with it.
11->Evaporate the solution in the Pyrex bowl at low heat. You can do this on the stove, but I've found that if you leave it on top of a water heater (such as those that provide hot water for your home) for 2 or 3 days, the remaining crystals will be methamphetamine.
