Earlier I responded to a member ( @nakaramu )who was interested in how people smoke meth. The best way, he said. I wondered, "what's that even mean, the best way?" Best is such an ambiguous term. Does the "Best" car go the fastest, get the best mileage? ride the smoothest? I guess it depends on who you are. I told said member I would write a little something for the grandkids out there still just dripping the shit on thier shoe, and burning themselves. Oh, I can't help you with that stuff, wouldn't dream of it. It's a right of passage, that blister on your nee and that welt on your thigh where you forgot you had a blazing hot torch in your hand.
I've smoked meth a lot of ways. Osmosis is the MacGyver of drug abusers! I've done some tricky shit in my time, but mostly I just got high. Circa 1999, when I firs started partying like it was 1999 (I've yet to stop)meth was something bearing little resemblence to what people call meth these days. It was really true that if you wanted to try some meth, that guy on the Harley Davidson with the leather vest, he was the do not pass go direct route to it. It typically looked quite a bit like sand, and if you were lucky, it didn't hurt your lungs tremendously. About 4-5 good hits and your eyes would start jiggling and you needed a little break. You had no idea that running, jumpingswimming, biking, it was so effertless. 100 meter dash? Pfft there and back fat boy, go, I'll give you the jump!
Anyways, in that time and place a nice chunk of heavy duty aluminum foil was kept in the wallet. You could wrap it around a glass fuse and voila! a new fuse was born (is what I told police) but even better, I could unfold that sucker, wrap a piece around a pencil or pen or chopstic orcigarette even, and make a tube. Then the rest, yo made a slght v shape with it. You put your sandy crank there in the v! Foil V in one hand, lighter in the other, tube in mouth. Hit the flames and when the shit starts smoldering stick it up under your straw and start token.We called that, "chasing the dragon" I didn't pick that term it just was what it was called. A few puffs, ball it up throw it over the hill, and you got 4-5 hours to find some more foil. It's still a not unpopular way to smoke various drugs, especially those that turn to liquid when they get hot. It's fairly wasteful and looks about like this
it was rare to find a place selling a pipe made for such things. One of the biggest problems being no one knoew what a "bubble" was. It's mpre descriptive to call such devices an "oil burner" or "oil burning pipe". Me I smoke essential oils out of mine, but they are generally cheap, unless they are not, but they are easy to make. A butane torch isn't hot enough, but a propane torch just barely is, and MAPP gas or acetylene with oxygen, or about anything including butane, with compressed oxygen, has no problem geting hot enough. A picture is worth a 1000 words so go watch a youtube video, and save me 100 pages of describing how to blow a bubble in a glass tube and tear a hole in the top. The trick for me is; Smaller bubbles are stronger bubbles. A bigger bubble doesn't have any benefit except a new pipe more ofte because youll bak th shit out of them. I have 10 small oil burners from china, actually 9 rip little susie, she coldn't handle the drop. Anyways I've dropped these things 10 times each and they are small and light and they don't break very easilyI think they were $8/10. Here are a couple of examples;
Those little tiny ones won't break if you drop them on the carpet and probably won't break on the hardwood floor.The larger ones are more inclined to, and the small ones can put out plenty of smoke I assure you. If you really want to make a smash, I doubt this would last 2 minutes in my hands

How do you smoke it? Good question I load it throught the top hole myself, but you can drop the crank down the stem if you want. DON'T attempt to push a chunk of ice throught the top thats too big to fit. It'll break I promise. Crush it a bit more. I usually put like 0.1-0.2g at a time in it. More than that and you'll struggle to create a puddle of liquid without burning it. Do you have to make a puddle?Do you have to have air in your car tires? It's recommended for sure.Back in the mid 2000's and still today, little shits wised up to the fact that Methylsulfunyl methane (MSM) was readily available at the pharmacy or GNC, looked like meth, costpractically nothing and tasted like match heads . The important part was the cheap and the looking like meth. Other little shits weren't dumb either and saw that MSM melts at (fuck I forget) 130-140c but meth melts at 170C. If one was gentle and patient, one can heat that pipe slowly and stop before it got too hot and melt the MSM but not melt the meth. MSM tastes like matches being struck. It's an obvious and nasty taste. If your meth really is cut with MSM, youshould notice that taste, or even the smell before it gets really hot. With a lighter or a torch 8 inches away, holding the stem and rocking it left to right, it's possible to burn a lot of that nasty taste off. This was a ritual for a decade until more advanced adulterants came into play. It can be mastered with little effort..
Let's smoke this shit. Ok, I'm holding the bubble. I'm both handed for real but you'll probably hold it in your dominant hand, btween your thumb and your index and middle finger. depending on what kind of lighter you are using, you could be2 inches from the glass or 10". A regular lighter has the advantage of not being super hot and the equal disadvantage of leaving soot all over your pipe. A small torch (not like a bruille /flambe torch, a cigarette torch) has a clean 1" flame. These are my choice. Not my favorite brand, but a popular brand youve probably seen for sight reference is a "Djeep". I heat the bottom of the bubble, non contact aout 2 seconds at a time and roll the pipe between my fingers. A 1 or 2 second heat and rthen a 5 second roll. I'm just trying to get it all melted without burning it. As soon as it's all liquid, i put it to my mouthe, twist leftuntil the hole is at about th 10 o'clock positiond and run the flame up the RIGHT side of the bubble. Yes the right side, where the meth IS NOT at, then I turn that sucker so the whole is at about 2o'clock and I pass the flame down the LEFT side of the bubble. Yes where the meth IS NOT. The idea is, you are heating the glass and allowing a bit of temper timing for the hot spot on the glass to dissapate before you twist that pipe back and the liquid meth hits that side a plumes of smoke roll off. I don't heat the puddle I heat the bare glass then let the puddle roll over it. After about 3 swiped up each side I have abour 2 rocking motions (left+right=1) or maybe 3 with no heat. With some care and practice a person can learn to smoke meth all day and it never turns brown. I'n not that patient but I like to get 8 hits or so before it's as brown as brown gravy. at that point I dump it out into somethin/hold it upright and het the neck until the brown meth is in the stem and not the bubble. I'll recycle it later. Let's call this technique 1 or "the bubble roll" It is also the same technique I use when I am smoking a bong/hookah with a bubble nail. Like this;
Notice the second one has a ground tapereed glass joint for use in your hookah or labratory glassware. Do the bongs get you higher? Yeah, they get me higher, and also everyone I know. "But doesn't the meth dissolve in the water?" Yes, some does, it doesn't diminish the hit you get hough and it's a little backup stash when you run out, evaporate the water and scrape up the meth, tada! "Isn't that nasty though?" it depends. It could be nasty, but I have chemistry glass and such. My basic process is, dry it in a pyrex pie pan scrape it up. Stir it with some anhydrous acetone 5ml/g maybe or so. after 2 minutes let it settle decant. More acetone. 2 minutes and I decant and dry or I myself dump it in the buchner funnel and hit the vacuum. Meth is insoluble in acetone. Ashed pyrolisis products MSM, Menthol , and several other things are. I usually find that the recyckled meth is better than the new stuff. I don't worry about crystallizing it, I just smoke that shit. Don't use fingernail polis remover. Just doon't there are good reasons. Decent acetone or none. he opposite idea is after drying, nice hot methyl ethyl or isoprople (or chloroform if you a Vanderwaal)DOES dissolve the meth, so rather than using a paint brush inside the buchner, its in the liquid but theoretically you hope some other junk did not dissolve so well in the alcaho. Then you evaporate the alcohol or chloroform, and there is your meth. That would be the time to recrystallize it if you wanted to. Boil it down until a skin forms and turn it of. later put it in the freezer. Tomorrow collect your crystals but know there still meth in that alcohol. You can evaporate it all or reduct the volume by 50% and do it all again. It's late. Early Ima have ti get the kids on the bus soon
