Question Methamphetamine from 2-Bromo-1-phenylpropane?

Is this possible? My chinese vendor sells this and I don't think that it shouldn't work but I have never heard of this route.

2-Bromo-1-phenylpropane + Methylamine (aq) -----> Methamphetamine
