These books are classic. I have both of them in paperback, as well as Total Synthesis I and II.
Yeah everyone in such a hurry to get shit done looking for a recipe, a template a shortcut, a breach. One will eventually be blessed by luck, but should never count on it to get by, let alone to hit a life-changing opportunity, and raise a leg up in life. One must understand that the useful luck is one we can breed, it happens when preparation and opportunity meet. Opportunities of all kinds go around but if one is not prepared, one will make nothing of it, not even recognize it and complain luck never looks one's way.
This thought reminds me of an Abe Lincoln's quote:
"Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe"
Anyways, any ol' hive bees still alive? Here is the new thing, eh? Took a long time until they got it right, but since the hive disappeared into thin air, no other site felt like home, bringing together good level discussions, decently organized, backed by experts bringing about current information and growing.
