Question Possible new precursor of racemic amphetamine

I found this phenylalaninol reagent a while ago.

The prices are somewhat high but D-phenylalanine is the one with the best price. Could D-amphetamine be made with this product?

Could the Moscow route be used?

Or would it be better to use some kind of hydride?

Could someone help me with this synthesis?

At the current price I don't think it would be profitable to do business with it, but I think it could be worth it for anyone who wants to make batches of D-amphetamine. If I'm right, can someone help me out?

There are no any commercially beneficial ways to make amphetamine from this precursor.

Even if it's not worth it, couldn't the OH group be reduced?

At least I'll learn something new.

It is assumed that the alcohol could be reduced to alkene and then hydrolyzed?
