Question Pseudoephedrine from pills-failure

I was extracting pseudoephedrine from pills.
I was expecting nice white pseudoephedrine crystals, I am disappointed and sad.

Active ingredients (active ingredients):

I couldn't determine if there was really pseudoephedrine.
Maybe I made a mistake because I evaporated on a new stove and I couldn't control the temperature exactly, what happened was that it evaporated quickly and I had a brown thick oily mass in the glass jar, but ok I let it cool and dry, I scraped it off, it was hardened and fragmented, it crumbled like wax, also after weighing the resulting material the scale showed a twice as high yield as I expected, it seemed impossible to me. I used 10 boxes-24 tablets per box-30mg pseudoephedrine per one pill.
Anyway I continued to produce Meth via Rphosphorus and iodine with 24-hour reflux, the resulting mass (picture 2) was dried I didn't feel like continuing further but I will try to finish it.I will report later.

I will deffinetly be aware of testing this kind of product that you have produced, it looks scary, the pseudo ephedrine looks fine, just a little contamineted if you need more specific DM me.

The pseudo looks OK, just a bit dirty. Whatever is in picture two is kind of scary looking for sure. I would be concerned if I ended up with that after a HI cook.

Its looks like all the phospor and Iodium is inside instead of meth, for me is normal because of what he said for the amoun of pils he shoud made not more than 7 gr pseudo so it need not more than 2 hours but anyway its a different method and temp.
