Question Synthesis BMK to Amphetamine with H2S04

Hi there,
i saw many synthesis methods here and they all seem a bit complicated to me.
My situation is: i got 1l of the yellow oil (i guess its BMK?) and the person, who gave it to me, didn't have a proper instruction for me.
I just got the info, that i need to put the oil in a big dish made out of thick glass and drop H2S04 slowly into the oil.
The other info i got, is that i need some additional ingredient like chalk - but i don't even know if its CaCO3 or CaO.
The yield should be around 2,5kg.

1. Can somebody please tell me, if this method can work?
2. How much of the sulfuric acid would be needed?
3. Do i need CaCO3 or CaO in addition?
4. When do i need to add the chalk?

What you are describing is the freebase in solvent, not bmk, it just needs to be precipitated with acid.You can use a drying agent like MgSO4 anhydrous, NaSO4 anhydrous to remove traces of water.Then you just drip a solution of H2SO4 in acetone/ipa to get your precipitate.

Could you please tell me how much MgSO4/NaSO4 and H2SO4 i need to buy?
When do i need to add the drying agent (and how)?
Do i need to mix H2SO4 and acetone and then drip it into the freebase?

I really need a step-by-step instruction. Sorry

You will use at most 100g of drying agent and acid depends on how conc. your solution is, anywhere from 300-900g might be freebase so about 1L at most.
before anything else, you take it and put it in after it has acted for half an hour or so simply drain off
yes, a few times more acetone than h2so4 1:5 , 1:10 ish

So i have the base, a big lasagne form made out of glass, a glass for making the drop-solution, a big dropping glass.
I'll buy 100g of NaSO4 and 1l of acid and 5l acetone and then I have everything i need right?

Do i need to take care of anything? Can it get hot?
Do i need to stir all the time, when dripping the acetone/sulfuric solution into the base? When do i know that I dripped in enough?

No worries, you probably won’t be able to buy only 100g, but its cheap.
That should do it, yes.
The acid might splash and heat up when added to acetone, best to use pre-chilled acetone.
Yes, stir all the time.You need to determine pH, universal indicator should be ok, no lower than 6.5.
