Synthesis of Propylhexedrine from cyclohexyl bromide

Hello. You can use cyclohexyl bromide to react it with ethyl acetoacetate to get the Ethyl 2-cyclohexyl-3-oxobutanoate. Then you can turn the intermediate into Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone. Then react Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone with methylamine in a water ethanol solution and do reductive amination with Aluminum Galinstan (Al/GaInSn) to produce freebase Propylhexedrine. Then filter it through a Buchner funnel and recover the Galinstan for future use while drying the filtered stuff with magnesium sulfate. Then bubbling HCl gas to get Propylhexedrine HCl.

Cyclohexyl bromide can be obtained from cyclohexanol and Hydrobromic acid using a Zinc Chloride catalyst. Also, CHX2P (Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone) can react with methylamine to make Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone methylimine and be reduced in 70% ethanol water to make Propylhexedrine. Grab a beer!

And Propylhexedrine freebase oil can react with HCl gas to create Propylhexedrine HCl. Color it blue, purple, wine colored, orange, cheese colored, yellow, green, and most importantly beer colored (yellow + brown + hint of orange).
Definitely beer colored!

There are videos about Hydrogen gas synthesis (H2) from dilute ethanol water (EtOH + H2O) and even 40% ethanol water (EtOH + H2O) using green, environmentally friendly, non-toxic Aluminum Galinstan amalgam. The question now is can it reduce the double bonds of imines to form amines. Maybe Isopropylamine freebase synthesis from Acetone and excess ammonia in ethanol water using non-toxic Aluminum Galinstan (Al/GaInSn). Maybe synthesis of Propylhexedrine freebasefrom Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone and Methylamine condensed into Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone Methylimine using Non-toxic Aluminum Galinstan amalgam (Al/GaInSn) in ethanol water. Then reacting Propylhexedrine freebase with HCl gas to make Propylhexedrine HCl. Plus, Galinstan (Gallium, Indium, Tin liquid metal alloy) is fun to play with in general. Maybe using ammonia instead of methylamine to make Norpropylhexedrine.

Propylhexedrine is 1/4 of the strength of Adderall.

You can enhance the synthesis of Propylhexedrine freebase from Cyclohexyl-2-Propanone. You add Methylamine, 70%+ Ethanol, Seltzer water (Carbonic acid), and Formic acid and Potassium Formate, and pH around 5 and 20°C to 30°C for a few hours. Also, add Palladium on Carbon and Aluminum Galinstan amalgam. Carbonic acid breaks down into Hydrogen oxide (H2O, Water) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2), providing an inert carbon dioxide atmosphere. Or you can flush the flask with argon or nitrogen. H2CO3 --> H2O + CO2. The combination of Aluminum Galinstan and Palladium on Carbon catalyst is essential for reductive amination. Aluminum Galinstan alone doesn't have the highest effectiveness. So adding 500mg 5% to 10% Palladium on Carbon is important. The Palladium will be amalgamated to the Galinstan (Gallium, Indium, Tin) alloy in the end. The Galinstan is reusable and you can reamalgamate it with Aluminum foil by heating it with a blowtorch in a crucible and mixing it with a stick or back of the spoon.
