They're closed source, so you should probably avoid them. Use something Linux based, probably.

You can make an burner out of cheap smartphone (with anon sim card or prepaid)that can get its battery removed then put it in Faraday cage box. Never use same location and never bring it home without battery removed and in box.

Just bought Pixel and installed GrapheneOS. With those devices you start to talk about privacy, they have legit HW and going degoogle way is never a bad option.

google pixel with graphene is the only way you can trust to be al least with some peace of mind, but always remember that the most common mistake in opsec is that people use to talk too much, shut your mouth and stay safe

I Just have bought pixel 4 XL, and I like it. Soon i will install graphene so I will write on this forum main differences between android and graphene.

@amphmnamii there are plenty of differences, you will degoogle the phone installing graphene as a new os, be finally free brother. Remember obviously to not isnstall google's app and not use the google play store

@miner21 yes bro, it's very similar, it's an android based operating system, so it's pretty much the same by the usability point of view
