how to make structures clean like this.this crystal seems ultra clear.
so, my experience is,
100g 2b3c
300dcm
200methylamin40% aqua
3 hours stirring
I use a sealed glas 1,8l, put foil between lid and glass so that nothing smells or gas escapes.
After reaction took place
2 times washing with dest.water
1 time extract water phase with dcm
put into rm,
add same amount fresh water into rm
put on magnetic stirrer
acidificaction drop by drop till ph6, about 50-55ml HCI,
after that take the water layer,evaporate the, let it crystallize, takes some time
opt. rotovap till 50% of the water is gone, then air drop
ethylacetat is possible, takes only 20 min, no heating necessary, rest same prosedure like with dcm
I waited min 2 days untill crystals began to form, these on the picture have not been washed with acetone but after that they are like glass. Very nice

2b3c is a yellow oil, some people sah they get a black oil but that makes no sense. Yeald is not good, about 20%
Maybe there are better ways to do this but i tried very different kind of synthesis and only this way gives me crystals like that. While acidificaction the RM becomes yellow and when it nears ph 6 its more orange but you only take the water layer, i tried to get someting from organic layer but nothing happened. Its rubbish

I did nothing, just waited until the water evaporates, 2-3 days
When crystals were formed i rinsed the box with some acetone and they became i little bit more, but i did nothing else, just be patienced

Poland is more expensive, about 250€ per Kilo, from China i could get it for 150$ but dont know about quality, never ordered there
I can not say in public, if you need some i can order it for you, but will cost a little bit more, that price is just for me, you know. He will not give it to other people for this price

Yes, as a polish citizen you get other prices, but i have to get it to germany without customs problems, so i need to pay more.

Same amount of water as rm.
I would do small steps, like 200g at one time ,not 1kg. If something goes wrong, you have a problem.
