Any suggestion on how to do the synth, but without the hydralic press? For example leave it to dry, heat the product and form it to a brick using baking papers or other papers as a wrap and then freeze it as to press it alternatively?

Is there another way maybe?

And will my sythe be of worse quality if I was to use hops from a homebrew vendor intead of the hop extract?

It will work. But better check the concentration, first make a small amount of synthetic hashish (10g). If the power is good, do a big batch.

Guys only live resine can do tast and aroma..im doing this around 3 years, trust me... person to person have own unique recipes...final product depends them experience, pressure and cooking methods....there are one and only solution for tast and aroma u need to get pine tree fresh milk...and put it in outside of ur home for 4 days to dry...let it dry proper...for resipe only u need 30g of pine resine for 100g hashish brick.. cheers..

It will smell like hops. Other extracts can also be used. Some use turpentine for the smell, closer to natural, but I am not a supporter of deception.

And I saw a comment that you said another extract class could be used, which ones do you recommend? since here in Europe hop extract is only sold in liquid format and I don't know if it would affect the recipe

The smell and binding agent. But other dry, concentrated natural extracts can work in the same way.

Its an old cannabinoids, you probably won't get it anywhere.
But in some countries precursors can be legal.
