5-minute Methcathinone synthesis (from pseudoephedrine)

Sorry, I'm not sure which part of this post you criticize. Is it the original synth description or the part about the crystallization?
Because I found the source of the latter part: it's Erowid. And in it, the ephedrone workup is done in IPA or acetone. You can find it here:

pseudo/ephedrine acetate is very soluble in water, and it will react with kmno4.. not trying to bash you but the stuff works (really nice sex on it) , and so it methcathinone acetate (it will not be base beceause the mixture is very acidic, from the vinegar)
I didn't come here to lie, I just wanna produce the hcl without basing this stuff

I can do that, but as I said I would very much prefer the hcl salt.. and not wasting money on ephedrine (pretty expensive)
But, I will do a small reaction and post pics..

Also, the guy said 8-9 ph, that is pretty basic.. vinegar is what, like 2 on the ph scale? I pretty much think anything above 6-7 melts in a gooey hell, especially on the stove top
I will post that ugly stuff.. but as I have read on the web, every organic acid will make an unstable salt, that will turn to shit after drying
So I will also try hcl, but money, time etc are on the low
Still, I will try inorganic acids, too
