Esta redacción es un desastre total. Si lo sigues tal cual, obtendrás un 10% de rendimiento. O puede que menos.

1. La amalgama de aluminio debe prepararse con antelación, es un paso importante
2. Añada su p2p, Metilamina a la amalgama junto con isopropanol
3. Mantenga la temperatura de reacción <30 grados
4. Con 40g de p2p y 40g de FOIL de aluminio obtendrá un 100% de reacción :).
5. Añada NaOH/KOH antes de filtrar el lodo de Al/Hg, facilita el proceso de filtrado y elimina el Al restante.
6. Y asi sucesivamente...

Antes lo hice en bidones de 200L, también valen bidones de 100L, e hice una reacción en una olla.

350-400 gramos de mercurio en 10L b (400 gramos es realmente mucho agresivo), 15L metilamina 40% y luego como 30L metanol.
El papel de aluminio no estoy seguro, que tenía en el extremo hecho como 2/3 de un cubo lleno de papel de aluminio rayado / dañado (sin bolas) por lo que fue que el peso.

Al final fue demasiado papel de aluminio.
Rendimiento; 12L a PH 12.

Entonces con metilamina, todo el mundo sabe que hay mejores alternativas para que cuando se trabaja con, por ejemplo, con Al/Hg

When you say the Al amalgam can be made in situ does that mean one doesn’t have to wash & decant the HgCl from the aluminum before introducing the p2p + methylamine mixture? The HgCl can be left in the flask while reduction happens and will be extracted out later during product purification?

I'm currently experimenting with al/hg and wanted to scale the synthesis. I asked myself the question of whether it is absolutely necessary to use a capacitor? I suspect it is needed to keep the methylamine and solvent (methanol) in reaction vessel. But would it be possible to compensate for methylamine loss with a new methylamine-methanol solution?

Perhaps an excess of methylamine was used, not much, just to compensate
Add an amount of water
Keep the temperature no more than 60 degrees and you will be fine

I have heard of success with nitromethane, but the yields are lower.
