Could you commend on the dangers of using glycerin in the recipe? Could it damage the lungs of the user by leaving oil on them after smoking?

I tried making this, but I used sage powder instead of hop extract, and didn't use IPA as I wanted to try without the noid first. Structurally, it turned out great. However, there is an issue when heating a piece of this hash with a lighter - heat doesn't get through all the way to the middle quickly enough, and while the outside part of the heated piece burns, inside it stays like plasticine and there is also liquid (I'm guessing glycerin). If heated longer, then the inside burns as well, but when crumbled, the crumbles are too large and stiff and they can't be crumbled further into dust - I would like it to just crumble into dust, like street-bought fake hash (I don't want it to bubble like real hash!)

Any idea how I can improve this?
