Existujú nejaké iné Lewisove kyseliny, ktoré možno použiť na syntézu 4mmc z toluénu?

Chlorid hlinitý je pre mňa ťažko dostupný.

Áno, napríklad chlorid železitý (FeCl3) a chlorid zinočnatý (ZnCl3), ale reakcia bude prebiehať pomalšie v porovnaní s použitím chloridu hlinitého.

pri tejto syntéze mám len ohrievač balónový mixér nemôžem použiť vodný kúpeľ a koľko stupňov by nemal prekročiť, keď pridávame propinolchlorid

Som si takmer istý, že to musí byť bezvodý chlorid hlinitý.

Bez vody, v žiadnom prípade. Problémom je, že chlorid hlinitý nemôžete vysušiť zahrievaním, iirc.

Dvakrát si to však overte
