1. Aluminiumamalgam muss im Voraus vorbereitet werden, das ist ein wichtiger Schritt
2. Geben Sie Ihr p2p, Methylamin zusammen mit Isopropanol zum Amalgam.
3. Reaktionstemperatur <30 Grad halten
4. Mit 40g p2p und 40g Aluminium FOIL erhältst du 100% runaway .
5. Fügen Sie NaOH/KOH vor dem Filtern des Al/Hg-Schlamms hinzu, das erleichtert das Filtern und tötet das restliche Al

Ich habe zuvor mit 200-Liter-Fässern gearbeitet, 100-Liter-Fässer sind auch in Ordnung, und habe eine Topfreaktion durchgeführt.

350-400 Gramm Quecksilber auf 10L b (400 Gramm sind wirklich sehr aggressiv), 15L Methylamin 40% und dann etwa 30L Methanol.
Bei der Folie bin ich mir unsicher, ich hatte am Ende etwa 2/3 eines Eimers voll mit zerkratzter/beschädigter Folie gemacht (keine Kugeln), also war es dieses Gewicht.

Am Ende war es zu viel Folie.
Ausbeute; 12L bei PH 12.

Damals mit Methylamin, jeder weiß, dass es dafür bessere Alternativen gibt, wenn man z.B. mit Al/Hg arbeitet

When you say the Al amalgam can be made in situ does that mean one doesn’t have to wash & decant the HgCl from the aluminum before introducing the p2p + methylamine mixture? The HgCl can be left in the flask while reduction happens and will be extracted out later during product purification?

I'm currently experimenting with al/hg and wanted to scale the synthesis. I asked myself the question of whether it is absolutely necessary to use a capacitor? I suspect it is needed to keep the methylamine and solvent (methanol) in reaction vessel. But would it be possible to compensate for methylamine loss with a new methylamine-methanol solution?

Perhaps an excess of methylamine was used, not much, just to compensate
Add an amount of water
Keep the temperature no more than 60 degrees and you will be fine
