Eine etwas einfachere Möglichkeit, Methylamin herzustellen, wäre die Reduktion von Nitromethan CH3NO2 zu Methylamin CH3NH2 mittels Al/Hg-Amalgam.

CH3NO2 + H2 ---> CH3NH2+ H2O

Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es einen Grund dafür gibt, denn die Verwendung von Modellflugzeugtreibstoff zur Herstellung von Methylamin in vitro ist ein üblicher Weg... entweder baut es sich schnell ab oder... es klingt nach einer energetischen Reaktion

Heiß, schwer und hart! Mein Gehirn tut jetzt weh. Ich wollte einfach das ganze Gas, das aus der Rxn entweicht, in etwas HCl auffangen und den Rest wegschütten. Oder die Insitu-Methode ohne Verzögerung anwenden.

I made the synthesis with a last minute decision in 3 lt capacity. The yield was good, I got 270 grams.

formaldehit %37 (CH₂O) 1546 Gr
