Anyone can explain step 7 and 8 in detail please
Like a filtering use vacum filtration or not, and washing just wash usually or use washing chemical technique. And step 8 i dont understand cause i think step 7 and 8 it’s irrelevant. Al2O3 dried suddenly in step 8 appeared EtOH. So Al2O3 not used ?

I don't particularly know this recipe, but in my opinion...
7 - you have to filter your mixture to recover the Al2O3. wash it with water 2x and let it dry; to save for another time.
8 - add water to your liquid (which you filtered) and it will create solid (JWH-018)

8. And liquid from i filtered Al2O3 is called the EtOH phase ? Like that ?

Ethanol is used to separate the product we need from insoluble and unnecessary things, that's the point

question 1..
-Indole (0,117 g) was mixed with neutral Al2O3 (1 g) and ground together until a homogeneous powder was formed.
(add water or acetone mixed. or no water or no acetone mix. hand mix right no any water..)

question 2-
The final mixture in a sealed 5 ml microwave vial was subjected to irradiation in a microwave reactor at 100 *C (400 W) for 8 minutes.

Vials are used for a microwave reactor. For a household microwave, we use a beakers and short, but frequent irradiation.

here is sheet with CAS. For some stuff you will need to bypass law (?) for instance pure ethanol its illegal in europe for domestic but just use cheep vodka and distilate it
for some reagent you will need to prove you own a company of some sort.

Without distillation of vodka, you can replace with other alcohol (isopropyl alcohol for exp).

I bring a few questions,
1 - if one makes naphtoyl indole via any other route, it seems like he may start off also in step 4 ( meaning Al2O3 does not interfere with the second procedure, as apparently there is no work up in between)
2 - What is the expected yield compared to traditional heating methods, especially for JWH-018, I mean, can it be performed in a procedure similar to adb-b, (provided one has naphtoyl indole and of course 1-bromopentane)(and given carbonate)?
3 - Does the reaction proceed smoothly if 1-bromo-5-fluoro-pentane in either reaction method ( MW or heating)

i was a while not active, because in my situation and location something changed.
I am now located in latin america (el salvador). And i never thought that it is in any country such difficult to get parcels delivered from abroad. I want to know, if anyone here of the experts and purchase helpers maybe has experience how it works here and hope maybe someone can help me how to get safe the integridents for a small scale, beginner friendly, cannabinoid synthesis.
