Where can I buy benzene/Benzol in Germany anonymously?
Benzene is rather restricted in the EU. You may be able to find a seller but as an individual consumer you'll have a hard time justifying the purchase of more than limited quantity. Ethyl acetate is a solvent for making 4MMC that can be obtained the easiest, is fully legal and not restricted, and is quite cheap.

Do you have experience with recovering solvents through distillation? DCM is moderately difficult to obtain (restricted for consumers in the EU) and NMP is expensive, so reusing them could be an interesting option.
I have never dabbled in distillation because on a large scale it is a waste of time if you are playing games and for you it is a hobby, you can have fun with it. NMP is expensive but it gives maximum results in combination with dcm if you use 1kg bk4 5l dcm and 3l nmp you can get 100% efficiency of the final product, the entire process is described in the video benzene and nmp here only you replace benzene with dcm
Wow, that yield is massive. Are there any alternatives to NMP to work as a phase transfer catalyst? I've read that it could be substituted by DMSO, are there any other options that may be cheaper and more easily available?

I understand that and I had distillation in mind to recover pure solvent. Especially DCM with its boiling temperature of 40 °C requires almost no energy to distill. I'm definitely going to do that and in about a month I should have some first-hand experience to share.

if you are making 100 kg, for example, the equipment you would have to use for distillation costs a lot, so if you calculate the time and money spent on the equipment, it is not profitable to distill, for example, mmc cmc. 99% of labs do not even use laboratory equipment.
