Syntéza metamfetamínu z P2P redukciou NaBH4. Stredne veľký rozsah.

Dobrý deň,

Po mnohých testoch s použitím metylamínu HCL na základe tejto metódy sa s vami podelím o najlepší spôsob, ktorý som našiel na získanie metamfetamínovej frebazy vo veľkom rozsahu:

• 966 gr P2P
• 14 litrov metanolu
• 1183 gr Methylamine HCL
• 638 gr NaOH
• 452 gr Bezvodý síran sodný
• 105 gr NaBH4
• 35 l destilovanej vody
• 7 litrov DCM

- Naplňte reaktor 14 l metanolu
- Za miešania rozpustite metylamín HCL
- Nastavte teplotu reaktora na 0 C (nie teplotu zmesi) a pridajte NaOH, teplota sa zvýši
- Keď sa teplota vráti na 20 C, pridajte P2P, teplota sa zvýši a miešajte počas 45 minút až 1 hodiny
- Pridajte 252 g bezvodého síranu sodného
- Keď teplota zmesi dosiahne 8C, začnite po častiach pridávať NaBH4, pričom teplota nesmie prekročiť 20C
- Keď sa pridá všetok NaBH4, nechajte zmes miešať pri teplote 20C počas približne 2 hodín, kým zmes neprestane bublať
- Pridajte vodu a pokračujte v miešaní počas 5 minút
- Pridajte DCM a miešajte počas 10 minút
- Prestaňte miešať a nechajte vrstvy oddeliť
- Ponechajte si spodnú vrstvu a hornú zlikvidujte (nie je výhodné extrahovať túto vodnú fázu)
- Do zachovanej vrstvy pridajte 200 g bezvodého síranu sodného a premiešajte ju
- Prefiltrujte ju v Buchnerovom lieviku
- Odparte DCM
- Získaná čistá a zapáchajúca freebáza metamfetamínu

Is the 35 litres of water added to ensure seperation of the dcm and water cos of the methanol present to stop it all mixing?
and are you using a 100 litre HDPE paint bucket as the reaction vessel?

Is 15g of NaBH4 enough as the reducing agent for 138g of P2P? Or should I add a small amount of reducing agent to avoid some side reactions?

Hello, yes it's not enough. You have to add at least equimolar amount 38.91g of NaBH4. It's even worth to add a little more, ~1.1 eqviv 42.8g.

Idol, there must be a special reason why you choose to use less reducing agent! For example, to avoid certain side reactions or to favor certain steps? Please Master, please enlighten me on the mystery behind this.
