Po pierwszym etapie (gotowanie z kwasem mrówkowym i formamidem) fazę organiczną ponownie gotuje się z wodą i NaOH zamiast refluksu z HCl.

Czy ktoś może mi wyjaśnić metrykę tego drugiego kroku? Swim nigdy nie robił tego w ten sposób, ale wydaje się, że oszczędza to dużo czasu w przeciwieństwie do oldschoolowej metody z refluksem HCl.

Jaką moc roztworu kaustycznego/wody i w jakiej ilości wprowadza się do reaktora na litr produktu?

In a write up that most people are reading to do this leuckart with formamide and p2p specifically... what is the purpose of a 15 min reflux with 30% h2O2 with the reaction mixture after you have already done the first reflux with formamide and p2p. Does it clean up or oxidize something? I mean this is prior to the hydrolysis. I just can't think of what it would do. I mean most people do it without it but it was obviously added for a reason in a actual professional write-up.

It's not on these instructions. When making amphetamine after the first 24 hour reflux on a different set of instructions they would reflux for 15 minutes with 30% hydrogen peroxide and then go on with hydrolysis. What was the point of the peroxide?

Swoje silniejsze nadtlenki wodoru wytworzyłem z 12% H2O2. Po prostu ostrożnie odparowałem z niego wodę.
Poprosiłem o obliczenia asystenta AI-robota z chemii. Jest dobry w obliczeniach, ale nie oczekuj prawidłowych odpowiedzi
z halogenacji lub podobnych ...

Wciąż nie wypróbowałem tej reakcji, ale przy dobrej hydrolizie z KOH, a następnie z HCL, powinno to dać wysoką wydajność i obawiam się, że praca z h2o2, aby nie tworzyć żadnych wybuchowych nadtlenków i po destylacji, aby nie wybuchnąć.
